## About the role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join a building construction team in Singapore. In this hands-on role, you will take charge of on-site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with site management, sub-contractors, and suppliers to keep construction activities running smoothly from groundworks through to completion and handover.
## What you'll do
- Supervise and lead a team of workers on active building construction sites, providing clear direction and maintaining discipline and productivity throughout the workday
- Coordinate the activities of sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and alignment with the project programme
- Monitor work progress against milestones and report updates to the project team, flagging risks or delays at the earliest opportunity
- Enforce strict compliance with workplace safety regulations and site-specific safety requirements, conducting toolbox talks and ensuring all personnel observe proper safe-work practices
- Assist with maintenance works and defects rectification, inspecting completed works and coordinating remedial actions as required
- Transport workers between their dormitory accommodation and the construction site as part of daily site logistics
- Liaise with site engineers and project managers to resolve technical queries and implement instructions accurately on the ground
- Maintain accurate site records, including attendance, work progress, and any incidents or near-misses
## What we're looking for
- Minimum 1–2 years of construction supervisory experience in Singapore, specifically within building construction projects
- Solid understanding of construction methods, sequences, and quality standards applicable to building works
- Familiarity with Singapore's workplace safety and health regulations and the ability to apply them consistently on site
- Proven ability to coordinate sub-contractors, manage a diverse workforce, and maintain productivity on site
- Strong communication skills in English; the ability to communicate effectively with workers and management at all levels
- Possession of a valid Singapore driving licence appropriate for transporting workers (where required)
- Relevant construction-related certifications or trade qualifications will be an advantage
- A detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive approach to site supervision and problem-solving
